What these case studies show

Every roof on this page was a real project for a real homeowner in the San Antonio area, not stock photography or a manufacturer showcase. We're building this section out slowly, with full write-ups only for jobs where the homeowner has signed off on us publishing the details and photos.

The most complete case study so far covers a hail-damaged shingle roof in Helotes that also had a dead 39-panel solar array and clogged gutters from years of poor ventilation. It's a good example of what a real roofing job often looks like once you're actually up there: not just one problem, but a handful of smaller ones that compound until a storm forces the issue.

The other projects listed here, a standing seam metal roof in Boerne, an architectural shingle replacement in Stone Oak, and a clay tile repair in Alamo Heights, represent the range of materials and neighborhoods we work in day to day. Full write-ups for those are coming as we finish documenting them; for now you'll find a short project summary and photo for each.

Materials vary project to project for good reason. Architectural asphalt shingle still makes sense for most homes and budgets. Standing seam metal earns its higher upfront cost on steep Hill Country rooflines and homes that plan to stay put for decades. Clay tile shows up most often on older, architecturally distinctive homes where matching the original material matters as much as stopping the leak. We'll walk you through which material makes sense for your specific roof rather than defaulting to whatever we sell the most of.

If you're trying to get a sense of whether we've handled a project like yours, the fastest way is still a phone call. Tell us what you're dealing with, whether that's storm damage, an aging roof, or a full replacement, and we'll tell you honestly what we'd expect to find. If you want to see how we approach a specific service in more depth first, our services page breaks down repair, replacement, inspection, and everything in between.
